On what her takes of the episode, Jennifer Carpenter aka Deb told E!, "I have to give a lot of our fans credit. The stuff that they come up with and the guesses that they make on how it's going to end are really impressive, but you just can't top our writers. All the time you put in [episodes] one through 11 watching the show, you'll be glad that you did in 12. Everybody matters in the end. Everybody matters. We all had to be there to shoot the finale."

Deep down, I knew it was going to come to this. Dexter has been sloppy for the entire season (and most of Season 3 I may add) and has been taking way too many risks. And not killing Trinity when he had the chance has officially come back to bite him in the ass. But this is making for the most exhilarating ride the show has seen since Doakes was hot on the trail of the Bay Harbor Butcher. Check out the preview and extended scene from next week’s Season 4 finale. These things are notoriously misleading, so decide for yourself what is a viable conclusion. The only thing that is certain now is that this is going to be the longest 7 days of any Dexter fans life. It’s your turn to chime in. Will Trinity get caught?
